Should I be worried? - community college vent
So I am about to enter my first year as a freshman undergrad at a local community college that I will be attending until I am a junior. I plan to transfer into A&M through a program I am apart of and I will be majoring in biology. I currently work two jobs (one at a clinic and one completely unrelated to animals but which I am passionate about). I am a bit nervous however that by going to a community college it will set me back or lower my chances of getting into vet school. Like I said I will only be attending for the first two years but either way It’s stressing me out whenever I start to think of the future. It’s also kinda hard to get involved within the community college because most of the club meetings are held at other campuses (at least the ones i’m interested in). I still want to try and keep building my resume while I am here but again it’s more of a challenge since I don’t have the same opportunities that I would be getting at a bigger college. I don’t regret my decision to stay local but I do understand that it might be more difficult in some ways, so if anyone has any advice or has been through the same thing please let me know! Thanks in advance :)
