Tesla Sales Plummet 80.7% in Sweden

Not really. It was way worse because he was gonna do it in a vacuum. Just imagine the cost of air tight trains running through completely air tight tunnels and making sure nobody dies when somebody shoots a tiny little hole somewhere in the tunnel and making sure people can embark quickly.
Now imagine the size of the tunnels and the cost of keeping such huge tunnels at a vacuum.

I have one book left to read for Shadows of the Apt.

I meant the inapt had overwhelming numbers when first fighting the worm, before they managed to seal them in. This was a huge war, but once it was revealed what the worm was, I failed to see why that was the case.

I have one book left to read for Shadows of the Apt.

The worm was such a danger throughout the books, that made the 'petty squabbles' of the current kinden seem meaningless. OP assumes for a reason that it would take everybody combined to fight them, it's because they said that is what it took the last time.

And in the end, the worm was just a completely normal kinden, but they stole babies of other kinden and this was disliked. And now they the other kinden did not want to fight them in fear of hurting their own kids.

Well, perhaps use your overwhelming numbers to destroy them before your babies grow up to become soldiers for the enemy.
Now, the special ability they gained underground was indeed interesting, but that never made it back up top to the real world in any big way.

Shroud - spoiler discussion

Loobinex
replied to whymylife

For me the journey was the best part, where the physical journey is secondary to both sides trying to understand each other but having such a hard time with this. I enjoyed the personality of the Shrouded.

The human centered parts in this book, and a few of Adrians other recent books are not as interesting to me. He basically extrapolates the 'now' into a logical conclusion for future humans, without any interesting fictional twists of our own.

That being said, I had expected the book to end basically at the point where they would be returned to the humans, and I happily surprised we got that extra chapter in space.

I have one book left to read for Shadows of the Apt.

With the Wasp ending, there were ifs and butts sure, but it was too much 'just the one city' that just went over and managed to beat the entire empire. And the tide turned really quickly.

For the centipede, I did not mind the last 5 minutes of that story, but the entire concept of the centipede I disliked. Both the way the centipede was before it was sealed away the first time - which was not the horror to me it was made out to be, and it was not believable to me how they as one kinden were able to take on the entire old world - but also not the manifestation it ended up like.

And yes, obviously it is subjective. I enjoyed the series as a whole, and am happy for people that did really enjoy the ending too.

I do disagree with this. The entire worm did nothing for me, and how it ended with the Wasps was also not to my liking.

Shroud - just finished it...

Well, Shroud knows us and has let us know it has our number, and now had the clear ability to communicate this with us.
So even if we still see it as prey, as any predator we fear crippling injury.

And Shroud will expand beyond its planet.

My Pet Dungeon is a map without a challenge mind you. Just relax and build with no enemies on the map you do not spawn yourself.
Not something I enjoy myself, but there are a lot of people who do like a sandbox.

In that case, doing Thug of War might not be a bad start. It's fair and balanced, so if you do not get frustrated on a restart, it could be something you really enjoy.

I just commented on your other post, I suggested Wetlands there. But roughly sort by difficulty I think. Thug of War for example is a map some people really, really love, but for a player just starting out it could be a bridge too far to complete.
None of my maps are made as 'hard challenge' maps, but for me the NG+ Tulipscent is a relaxing no-stress map, so everything is relative.

This is not so strange. Deeper Dungeons are not the best maps out there, and believe me when I say that even though there has been a lot of crap made by users too, there have been users that put a lot more effort, polish and thought into their maps than the people who were left at bullfrog ever did on the deeper dungeons.

If you liked NG+, which I made, you could check out some of the other maps I did. On the workshop you can filter by author of sort by quality and look up the ones that appeal to you, and check out the difficulty score to start out with maps that are not too hard. NG+ is still considered a quite easy campaign. Perhaps a nice place to start with is 'Wetlands', which is a small step towards more advanced keeperfx stuff but still is not that hard.

Glad you enjoyed it. And yes, making the campaign feel like you felt when you first played the the game was exactly my goal for it.

Also, what I seriously disliked in the early levels in the original campaign were the anti-climactic endings. You could train up, wall in, see scary heroes dig toward you, then you had you army of high level demon spawn and only faced a single level 1 dwarf and a level 1 knight. This time around I hoped the enemies felt worthy of your training up.

You can rate and review whatever you play on KeeperFX.net: https://keeperfx.net/workshop/item/387/new-game-plus
This way others players have a better idea what to play too.

Why don't Belgium and Germany team up to polder a barrier around the Netherlands to cut off their ocean access?

See those red lines in the east. That's still 'contested area', where the Netherlands says 'the border is neatly in the center of the river'. And the Germans say 'NEIN, ALLES ZUM BASSIE', meaning they claim the Dutch half too.

No need to apologize at all. Like I said, glad you are enjoying the game, but there's also people who do not care for KeeperFX at all and that is also fine by me.
They can play something else (like dk1 in dosbox), or explain what they dislike and hope the feedback allows us to make it better so they would enjoy it.

KeeperFX makes my favourite Skybird Trill strategy impossible

Loobinex
replied to SquidFetus

And yes, which was my line of thinking on changing this. The final map feels like they never got it to work how intended. (more levels of the campaign have this to a lesser extend mind you).

And people who have played DK for many times, and are used to capturing the first avatar, probably forgot the slap in the face that was the original story, and remember the funny exploit you are talking about. I too obviously captured the avatar in the original game.

But for new players, I do hope their experience of this level is now smoother. The story is actually implemented. You can still capture and convert the avatar, but this as a fitting finale and final triumph.
KeeperFX at the end does not aim to be 'as close as possible to original', but 'close to the original feel but with bugs and problems fixed'.
Some changes are more controversial, and I am aware that this is one of them. Glad to hear that in general you do enjoy the mod.
