Day 6 of daily reviews: Lattafa Khamrah
This perfume is a miracle for the price it comes at. Angel's share has always been at the top of the cinnamon boozy genre for a long time, and the boozy cinnamon-tobacco genre happens to be my favourite (with Azzaro Wanted By Night being my absolute #1) and Khamrah is now up there with the best of the best, it's borderline miraculous how good it smells for the price point it comes at.
Khamrah smells like syrupy sweet vanilla and powdery cinnamon along with and bunch of very sweet notes such as dates, praline and tonka bean. This is the most "sweet notes" fragrance I've ever seen and it is so good at just being very seductive and inviting.
Angel's share has this distinct quality where the cinnamon smells very powdery and almost you can feel the grittiness in your nose but the cinnamon here is less powdery and more syrupy, it's also a bit more energising whereas Angel's share is very cozy and relaxing. Like angel's share smells like a cold winter night where you have a heater on and you're in a blanket whereas Khamrah smells like you're about the leave the house for a party.
Khamrah also has this layer of molecules that are supporting the edible notes that makes it very "pheromone" like and just absolutely seductive. This is definitely very unisex and a couple can wear this together as a going out scent for sure. Khamrah is good for almost anything other than the office, even daytime wear for casual scenarios or like a daytime date and it lasts for a very long time and projects great as well. A gourmand lover's dream.
Weather: Cooler Days
Age group: Any
Longevity: 9-10 Hours
Projection: Really good
Would I gift it: Hell yes
My rating: 10/10
