West or east?

Ive seen alot of people say that miss gulch actually turns into the Witch of the East because supposedly she’s wearing the ruby slippers. However i personally still think it’s the witch of the west. You actually see the wicked witch’s shoes twice in the film, when she gets up from after east’s legs shrivel up and when she steps down the stairs right before the melting scene The shoes look similar because they are actually the same pair of shoes as the ruby slippers, they are just dyed black and not sequined. Most of the women’s shoes were all pumps from the innes shoe company The script itself doesn’t help much either as it states that miss gulch simply turns into a Witch. Another argument that it is the witch of the east is that they talk about her in the “it really was no miracle” part of the munchkinland sequence but lets remember at this point, Dorothy thinks theres only one wicked witch
