What can I improve as an ADC?

Basically as the title says. Can someone pls tell me what do I need to improve or what can i do to perform better? also feel free to share some tips that you feel are important as an ADC?

Personally my biggest issues are probably my lack of damage and the gold gap between me and the enemy adc is not that different
