How much do you ask your bridesmaids to spend?

I’m planning a wedding for fall this year. My cousin is organising my bachelorette party but neither of us have been to one before. I was wondering how much you expect your bridesmaids to spend for accommodation and activities for both the bachelorette party and the wedding itself?

I’ve paid for bridesmaid dresses and the usual stuff, but accommodation for the two nights for the wedding as well as for the bachelorette party is looking like it’s racking up to quite a bit. I just wanted to know what others have asked for bridesmaids to pay!
