Did anyone get ready with their partner?

We were originally going to get ready with our respective sides of the wedding party and do a first look, but realised the one thing that would make our wedding day plan better would be spending as much time as possible together.

Our ceremony doesn't start till very late afternoon so we'll be getting ready together, joined by our wedding party, take professional photos at a gorgeous location before the ceremony, and then spend the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception just hanging out with our guests and not having to duck out for pictures.

Has anyone done something like this, any reflections or regrets?
