Interested in Hearing Unvaxxed Experience with Covid

My husband and I, both unvaxxed and both elderly, finally got covid for the first time about a week ago. I won't pretend that it's been a walk in the park, because we have felt pretty miserable. Never afraid or felt in real danger, but pretty sick. I have been grateful for our "virgin" immune systems being able to mount a robust defense and assumed we would now enjoy natural immunity for at least a little while. But I keep reading in the CovidPositive sub that people are getting it over and over again and that it almost seems worse every time. I can't ask the $64,000 question over there, which is Are these multiple cases due to vax status/original antigenic sin, or do the unvaxxed also keep getting it repeatedly? If you are unvaxxed and have had covid, what has your experience been like with repeat cases? Reports from those with direct experience will be much appreciated.
