What time does the tram from the Metro station start running?

Hello all! Going to Universal Studios tomorrow and hoping to get them when the park opens at 8. We were hoping to take the tram from the Metro to the park entrance, however I’m seeing conflicting information that the tram starts shuttling people either starts around park opening or at 9 AM. Wondering if anyone could confirm if we could head to the trams around 7:30 and they would be running. Thanks!
