Did anyone else think Prowl and Ironhides deaths were kinda disturbing to watch as a child?

I love this movie, but I remember watching Transformers the Movie when I was 6 years old. I remember seeing the deaths of those two characters and being shocked to see two beloved characters dying the way they did. It was something I wasn't expecting.
