Do I get the reward after beating the lamb and dying agains mega satan?

I’m completing Jacob and Esau run, after many hours I kill the lamb and get the completition mark, the big chest appears and the lap message appears (rejected) but the reward (Damocles) only appears when ending the match, my doubt is, instead enter the chest to end, if I go to mega satan and dying, should I receive the reward?
