Can we actually talk about Jesse Velez?

I swear this guy is overshadowed so much by the senior citizen of a decoy that people forget the sting isn't about him.

Velez really annoys me, though. The way he acts at the end suggests he's deluded enough to think that he'd actually changed Chris's mind about him, and is shocked when he gets arrested. Like, why do you think you're under arrest, you dumb fuck? And then whines on Facebook that everyone hates him now.
