Tell this newb to get lost!

Brandy new here, brandy new to throwing big bois at big fish, and I've got some questions...

I've watched a few videos, I've bought toooo many baits, and I've had about zero time on the water with any of my gear due to the fact that I got back into fishing after a 15ish year hiatus right at the end of the '24 season. I have thrown most of my newly acquired lures in the water, but only to see how they swim.

My question(s) is/are pretty obtuse...what line is best for heavier glides/swims (2oz-up), and for lighter-ish glides/swims (under 2oz)?

I've got a heavy setup for like up to 10oz, and a lighter setup for like up to 2oz. Please halp!
