Dead Air Mojave 9
Just got back from the range for my first conjugal visit with the Dead Air Mojave 9. The host is the radial-delayed CMMG Dissent 6.5" 9mm. I was shooting Federal 150gr Syntech.
Wow, the sound is incredible - quiet low tone. No gas in the face. Soft shooting and just a whole lot of fun.
I have a Huxwrx Flow 762 Ti and a Rugged Occulus, so two different experiences from the Mojave 9. I love all three of them, but the Mojave 9 is my favorite. That could just be recency bias.
Now, I will say that getting the internal mount unscrewed from the main body of the suppressor was not happening at the range with just an armorer's wrench. They cranked that mother down tight at the factory.
I had almost given up being able to direct mount it to my PCC, but thankfully the owner showed up and he had a vise with rubber jaws in the back. Even with the vise, though, it took considerable force. I mean, gotdam, they torqued that on tight.
All in all, two thumbs way up for the Dead Air Mojave 9.
