S3 When Darby left the firm did Pearson Specter retain their oversees offices? Why is their no mention of this in later seasons?

Im particularly interested in this because of the suits spin off “suits La”. Potentially the firm could be an extension of Pearson Specter as that is the timeline of the show. Thoughts?
