What’s preventing you from getting the shape/health that you want?
I am in the process of leaving my job at SAHM where I've been for almost 5 years. It's been a good run, but I'm ready to go back to work part time. I've decided to get my personal trainer certification and hopefully get a job at the local gym.
My passion is moms, specifically those who feel like pregnancy and childbirth has impacted their bmi to the point that they or their doctor believe it's unhealthy. Moms have it insanely rough. We don't get enough sleep, which makes building muscle very hard, as muscle is built during rest. We don't eat well, because we are strapped for time, and/or we emotionally overeat. Breastfeeding also lowers our ability to build lean mass. Add to that the sheer lack of time to workout, and becoming healthy can seem daunting and unachievable. Then there are those who simply lack the knowledge or motivation.
Eventually I want to find a niche with helping women in this stage of life. I would love to get your thoughts and feelings on the matter.

Working out is I think the biggest detriment to most people. But what most forget/don't realize is that 90% of weight loss, even 100% if you prefer, is a result of nutrition. Eat at a caloric deficit, you lose weight. This comes at a price though. It means meticulously tracking and weighing food. When feeding a family, that can seem like an impossible task. So I would love to hear thoughts on what prevents you from eating at a deficit, not just what prevents you from working out.
