Discouragement

Does anyone in the squish community ever get embarrassed or sorta guilty when others are unpleased or judgmental with your collection? I love squish, and they make me very happy! However, I can’t help but get a little sad when random people seem almost disgusted by them. I don’t see how they are any different from collecting things like Pokémon cards?

I feel like another huge issue is people talking about how old you have to be to play with a “children’s toy.” I am a teenager, and I’ve had my fair share of people telling me I’m too old for squishmallows. But I don’t think anyone is too old for squishmallows! If they bring older people joy, then it’s appealing to older people too! I don’t see why people get so worked up over what other people choose to spend their happiness on!
