How can I play certain hidden gems legally?

Not tech savvy nor do I wanna sail the high seas but there's lots of games for the SNES I grew up with and wanna play again but don't have any options. Either they were hidden gems made by companies that have gone out of business (skyblazer, prehistoric man, etc) or they are licensed games that never got ported to my knowledge (maximum carnage, war of the gems, the incredible Hulk). Not sure what I'm supposed to do cause it's not like tracking down physical copies is an option so I don't really see a choice here
