I'm skeptical of the notion that the American Military is invincible as portrayed on Social Media. I'm also skeptical of the notion that Russian nukes don't work.
Look at the US casualties from World War 2 & the Vietnam War. 1000s of tanks lost in WW2 and 100,000s of men. If we look at Vietnam, there was 1000+ of aircraft losses and 10,000s of men killed.
People want to bring up the Gulf Wars as the be-all-end-all. This isn't as big as an accomplishment that would be on par with defeating Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union on their own.
Its still a decent accomplishment worthy of credit, but it is not on par with defeating another nation that can deal significant damage to US forces.
Foremost, Iraq is a tiny nation and tiny nations are easier to conquer than larger nations. On top of that, Iraq in 1990 barely got out of the Iran-Iraq War that lasted about eight years.
They were war-torn and likely exhausted from the war, and probably did not recuperate. Add up sanctions to cripple their economy, therefore their recovery would be slower and their recovery not fast enough to be well prepared for the Gulf War.
The US does have experience but such experience is overstated, because when was the last time the US went to war with a country that can sink naval ships in the 100s? World War 2. That's the experience I'm concerned about, not invading weakened countries like Iraq or getting ousted by insurgents.
Ironically, Russia, despite their abysmal performance, has more experience in drone warfare in Ukraine than the US does. Unlike Iraq their country is large, and they have vast resources and allies to rebuild their military after the war and maintain a military with some experience.
I've seen so much non-sense lately ranging from Russian Nukes don't work to America has reversed engineered UFOs.
The flaws with these claims is that if North Korea can maintain an arsenal of 60 fully-functional warheads, a country like Russia likely has a vastly large arsenal in the 100s if not 1000s of warheads. We've seen the Oreshnik missile used in Ukraine, so we know their delivery systems work. Corruption does not stop enough nukes from working this is what people forget.
Also, this theory about the US Government secretly reverse engineering UFOs from aliens is crazy. Because if a fighter jet crashed into the Persian Empire they'll never figure out how to get it to fly or even reverse engineer it.
I'll compromise and agree that perhaps they can figure out the physics behind flight or get a concept on how it works.
But the internals good luck figuring out combustion 1000s of years ago. Or even the computers inside it. No way, the US Government is getting a UFO reversed engineered anytime soon.
