Burying shrimp in house plant?

So I had one of my blue neos pass away from old age. I also have a money tree that isn’t doing super hot bc I need to fertilize it.

I buried the deceased shrimp in the money tree pot to see if it will help it grow. I feel like it should in theory? Or am I just a huge weirdo now?
