Reapplication PS

I've seen some conflicting opinions on whether or not it's a good idea to reuse your PS for a reapplication. I'm planning on playing it safe and changing my PS for the most part. Do you think it would it be ok to reuse the introduction of my old PS word for word though? I'll be using most of the same experiences that I wrote about during this cycle, but talking about them from a new perspective and incorporating how my gap year has shaped my motivation for medicine.
