Is Dormont/Brookline/MT Lebo a good place to live?
I’m planning to move to the Burgh and have lived in rural small town areas my whole life. The job I have lined up has me commute to the west of Pittsburgh. I’m hoping to get an apartment somewhere I can walk to shop, take the T if I don’t want to drive and long term be able to take jobs in most areas of the city without and insane commute (I do 50 minutes right now and that near my max). Bonus if LGBT friendly.
It seems like Dormont/Brookline/MT Lebo (more the first two) is a good spot for me but idk if I’m missing something a local wouldn’t miss.
