Surgeon recommendations

I am looking to have tubal ligation surgery after learning it is covered by my insurance (UPMC). Does anyone have first or second hand experience (partner or friend) that can recommend (or warn against) a doctor for this procedure? Any advice regarding the vetting process and recovery are also welcomed.
