Cleaning snakebites

I just got my snakebites done yesterday, and they had me mix 1cup of water with 1/4-1/8 tsp of the saline they gave me I don't use the whole thing every time. what do I do with the excess? do I go ahead and dump it or do I keep it in a closed container for next time?
