[UPD] I am disappointed to USC Candidates na NAMIMILIT sa mga Manininda na i-endorse sila
As someone who wants to be enlightened more and has seen firsthand some of the issues of candidates who are running, I watched online to have an informed vote for the elections this October 29-30. But I must say that I'M UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED for how some candidates capitalize on the endorsement of our maninindas.
In the MDA that happened, former USC Chairperson Shine Reyes asked candidates who are part of the 10 point Agenda Coalition (Dexter Clemente, Olivia Herrera, Joaquin “Waks” Buenaflor, Ramon Christian "RC" Placido, Aimee Ramos, Nimra Gonzales) on what can they say about “allegations that the Samahan ng Manininda sa UP Campus were forced to endorse them.
But later on, Reyes posted screenshots of her conversation with one of maninindas at kitang kita na napilitan talaga ang mga manininda to endorse said candidates.
“mga boseeet”
“may nanghihimasok sa pagsuporta namin sa inyo”
“hindi kami pedeng DIKTAHAN”
“unite muna daw”
“di nga namin sila kilala”
Now, I ask the candidates I mentioned above especially you Joaquin Buenaflor, you confidently said na healthy discussion lang mga nangyari but the maninindas felt FORCED at evident sa mismong kwento nila na may hint of gaslighting or pamimilit para i-endorse kayo?
It is sad that one of the sectors in UP is being used for personal gains. Para sa mga estudyante at masa ba talaga kayo tumatakbo?
