Random stutters in games after computer has been running for period of time.
Unsure whether it's CPU/GPU or ram.
I get the best performance in games right after a fresh restart of my PC. Zero stutters, good frame rates, etc.
But if i have been doing a bunch of other tasks on my PC (examples: video streaming, general internet browsing, downloading games, listening to music, etc etc etc) for an hour or more, when I boot up any graphically demanding modern game, even with optimized settings, I will still get stutters.
Upon a fresh restart (full shut down, wait for computer to cool down) and booting up a game as soon as my PC is ready, I get the best performance; zero stutters, and this is at maxed settings, full RT, usually DLSS quality. I know my computer can handle the maxed out settings.
Here are my specs:
i9- 13900
RTX 4080 super (asus ROG strix)
32gb of RAM (DDR5)
asus rog strix b760-F gaming wifi motherboard
Also my CPU has a triple fan AIO cooler, on top of there being 6 other fans in my case (also goes without saying my GPU has three fans on it as well). Air circulation in my rig is top notch.
