Has a parent ever gone NC themselves?

As the title says, has your nparent ever gone NC themselves? I tried for the last time to reconcile over Christmas and they got into a strop and left and haven’t spoken to me since, probs because the didn’t want to face the music of all they’ve done. They don’t understand that while I really needed to say my bit (I know it would have fallen on deaf ears) this is not a bad thing for me 😂 they’re threatening me with a great time!
