We have a son due in December

Of course my bf wants it to be a Junior, so “Tyler De’von Young Jr”. I have a problem with this, since I call him by his first name most the time, and I don’t want to confuse my son when I’m calling for his dad.

I was thinking I could use my bf middle name, but his brother named his son after my bf middle name, De’von.

So now I’m at lost of what to do, my bf does not want to compromise at all. I told him we could give our boy his first and last name, and give him his own middle name, but he just keeps refusing.

I want my son to have the opportunity to be called something different from his dad, and his cousin. I have a list of names I like, and would like your guises opinion on them.

I know overall, I need to speak to my bf about this, but I’m just hoping once delivery happens me we can speak about it after he’s born, and maybe then he’ll be willing to compromise with me…. If not then I’m not sure what I’ll do…

Edit; his older brother is named after their dad, so TJ as a nickname is already in use.
