Which movie’s special or practical effects stunned you the first time you saw them?

For me, the puppets & body suits of the Xenomorphs are still some of the best to date.

A Space Odyssey (practical) & Blade Runner (miniatures) were genre changing.

Avatar, Wraith of the Titians & Annihilation were some of my favorite uses of computer effects.
