My gay married boss confessed his feelings towards me in the worst way.

For context, his husband (lets call him Bob) and I were close friends in highschool, until Bob confessed his feeling for me about 6 years ago and I cut off the friendship. Time has past and I assumed feelings had faded since they got married. Bob offered me a job at his company and I took it. So they're my bosses but also my friends. Everything was going fine for a few months but then Bob's husband (lets call him Tom) started texting me in a dramatic fashion.

For some 'unknown' reason (likely jealousy) Bob has had an issue with my long term girlfriend since we first started dating 6 years ago (right before Bob confessed his feelings back then). Bob and Tom have hardly ever interacted with her and back then they had never even met. He had no reason to dislike her which is why I assumed jealously. But in present day they both seemed better about it. They wouldn't talk bad about her but I could always tell there was a level of disinterest when I would talk about her around them. My girlfriend and I have a very small social circle so the prospect of gaining two more friends was exciting for her. But now Tom also has feelings for me and frankly I find the whole thing ridiculous. So now I'm out two friends and job. And my girlfriend feels like shit despite her doing literally nothing wrong.

Was I too harsh I'm my replies?
