rke2 vs vanilla kubernetes
Happy new year,
Well, is not to start any kind of flame war but I'm also interested in opinions of others that are dealing with both products, k8s and rke2...
As we deploy for our clients both products on (vsphere/vcloud +base image: ubuntu server min install); medium to large clusters ( from 8 nodes to ~80-90 nodes/cluster); default nginx+longhorn+canal vs traefik+longhorn+cillium(in case of k8s), we observed less complains in case of rke2 deployments.
rke2 out of box with no extra fancy kernel settings vs K8s that requires a lot of extra settings in case of large clusters.
So, any other other opinion/experience related to ?
