Can anybody recommend a trade apprenticeship program in KC?

I'm trying to get out of CVS pharmacy (for obvious reasons), and I think the best thing to do is to go into a trade. I say this because I know many trades have apprenticeship programs, where someone who has not worked in the field before can get the experience on the job while working on getting a certification. Even if it means my pay goes down from what I'm making at first, I'd very much enjoy a chance to get in and do something really worthwhile.

I'm open to pretty much any trade except plumbing (I know they get paid VERY well, but I'm just too squeamish). I'm already aware of a pretty good sounding electrical one that I do plan to apply for, but if anyone knows of any others, I'm all ears.
