How do I introduce my parents to J-Fashion?

Hi everyone,

I'm a 17-year-old guy who's been into J-Fashion for quite some time now (specifically Yami Kawaii/Menhera, Tenshi Kaiwai and Yume Kawaii). I'm planning to buy some clothes for back to school for my senior year, but I'm facing a challenge: introducing my parents to these styles.

I'm not in a conservative or Christian household, but I am in a Black household where alt fashion in general is seen as weird. I'd really appreciate any advice on how to approach this conversation and help them understand and accept my interest in J-Fashion. Thanks in advance!
