Based on the book "Space Vampires". Tells you most of what you need to know. An interesting blend of genres and ideas that wraps around again and then some.
Some solid effects. A particular British sensibility for most of it. All vampires are horny in one way or another, these happen to be more orgone energy focused.
The effects are quite solid and hold up well. The middle feels a bit like a side quest. On the whole I totally get why this has taken on a kind of cult status.
A fun mess of a movie that holds together most of the time, does some cool stuff and has wild and occasionally ill advised scenes. An enjoyable time for fellow curious sickos.
