Colonoscopy advice please.

Has anyone had a diagnosis from a colonoscopy despite blood and stool tests being normal?

My gastro has diagnosed me with IBS D due to blood, stool, H pylori, FIT test and Sehcat scan results being normal and he’s discharged me. I have a colonoscopy booked for February but it’s right on top of when I’ll be moving.

Given the fact I’ve been suffering with this for 10 years and all my tests results have been clear so far and I’ve been discharged is it worth putting myself through the colonoscopy (which I’m terrified of) if it’s highly likely the results will come back normal?
