Anybody seen this?

French film from the 1960s "Eyes Without a Face". It's a horror movie I seriously recommend. It's a black and white of course and it's a horror/crime film. Not "scary" but creepy atmosphere and topics, really really interesting and thought provoking film too. To sum up without ** spoilers.. a beautiful woman gets into a terrible accident and her face is completely mangled and her father is a very renowned surgeon. He manages to construct her a new face.. but something really isn't right with this new face. The movie is actually really ahead of it's time and has some mind fuck moments and shocking scenes and imagery for the 1960s. It's a really beautifully sad movie that I recommend. The premise is horrific but told in a way that leaves you feeling melancholy rather than shocked or disgusted like modern horror.

Please do give it a shot if you've got free time :)
