What’s Your Personal Limit?
As much as I love bags, I feel overwhelmed when I own too many. This summer, I fell into a bit of a shopaholic phase due to work burnout and a desperate need for dopamine, primarily indulging in Coach bags and a few from Baggu (thanks, TikTok, lol). Suddenly, I went from my usual collection of 6-7 bags to nearly 20! It was overwhelming, so I decided to sell some on Poshmark. Now, I’ve streamlined my collection back down to 8 leather bags (3 designer and 5 mid-range), along with 1 denim bag, 1 sequin bag and 2 Baggus, and I finally feel a sense of balance again.
I’ve noticed that social media often normalizes owning a vast collection of handbags and constantly buying new ones. I’m curious to hear what everyone else thinks—what’s your limit? I understand that desires can be limitless, but realistically, how many bags do you feel comfortable keeping in your home?
