The filming your friends evacuation discourse 📝 🔥

Seeing a lot of defense for Hasan filming himself picking up his friends who were evacuating the LA fire. Every defense I see is “It’s Hasan’s best friend, Will didn’t mind” or “It is a good thing to document the tragedy/show people how they can help their friends right now, even if he is being content brained”

My main issue, not that I care a whole lot, is that the community who virtue signals on consent at every chance possible, does not seem to care that Hasan did not ask his friends if he could film a traumatic moment in their lives. I don’t really care that once his friends realized they were being filmed that they “didn’t care”, banking on your friends retroactive consent because they expect you to exploit their trauma anyway - isn’t an excuse for being a dipshit. He should have just checked that it was fine beforehand, end of story. Even if i’m a streamer I can’t imagine wanting this moment of duress being content for someone else, let alone a live audience of 30k people.
