My Collection (Updated) (33F)
I’ve added a lot to my collection since the last time I posted. From top left to bottom right:
French Gray by Nirvana - a really pretty lavender scent that reminds me of vintage perfumes. Really love this one before bed.
Rose by Nirvana - one of my favorites and I’m just so sad that Nirvana has been discontinued. This is my first grab wherever there is rain because it smells like a dewy dark rose.
Vow Factor by Snif - was really curious to see how I would like this because everyone was over the top in love on Tik Tok and reception everywhere else seemed iffy. I personally adore it! So fresh and beautiful. I like to layer it with Osea oil.
1969 by Histoires de Parfums - one of my more masculine leaning scents. I really loved the spicy peach smell at first and I think it got a little ruined for me when an old coworker thought a teenage boy had over-sprayed Axe in the classroom we were meeting in.
Unknown Pleasures by Kerosene - my newest addition. This is perfection. I like gourmands ok, but this stands out so much in the category and other than it’s yummiest, it doesn’t hit the same cloying sweetness that turns me off from wearing gourmands too often. Really amazingly blended.
Velvet Orchid by Tom Ford - gives old lady vibes to me, but I still like it occasionally. Very strong projection and almost has a licorice undertone. I now would not probably own a full bottle of this and have thought about removing it from my line up.
Lost Cherry by Tom Ford - I love this one a lot and wear it a lot during the holidays. I also liked cough syrup as a kid though, so do with that what you will.
Black Orchid by Tom Ford - a little sexier and masculine than Velvet Orchid but still not full bottle worthy.
Radio Bombay by DS & Durga - woody and creamy. I use this mostly as a layering fragrance and think it’s my favorite wood dominate scent that I’ve been able to get my nose on. I just really enjoy DS & Durga’s dna.
Libre by YSL - boss bitch perfume. Only have a sample and don’t plan to get a full bottle because I don’t feel the need often to put people in their place.
Milk by Commodity - the common consensus on this seems accurate. It’s a toasty little marshmallow. I bit sweeter than I usually like but still gorgeous.
Colette by Tocca - I will absolutely buy a full bottle of this at some point. It’s very light but beautiful. I sometimes forget that I put it on and wonder to my self what the beautiful cloud of floral woods surrounding me is.
Dylan by Versace - no thoughts really on this. Boring little sample that came with an Ulta order.
Do Son by Diptyque - gorgeous white floral bouquet. Reminds me a lot of Gucci Bloom but with a little more maturity and a unique dry down that doesn’t feel as floral.
Fleur de Peau by Diptyque - my favorite perfume. Something about this reminds me of my late grandma and I don’t know what it is. The first time I smelled it, I cried. It has a slightly dusty quality that is calming and I always wonder if others find it as beautiful as I do.
L'Ombre Dans L'Eau by Diptyque - so so so green and sharp. I am a notorious over-sprayer and I can’t handle more than one spritz of this. I layered it recently with Philosykos and it was a lot like Vow Factor.
Philosykos by Diptyque - one of my first major loves. Anyone who like fresh scents needs to get their nose on this. I introduced this to a friend who claimed to hate perfume and it’s now her signature because her and husband didn’t know something like this could exist.
Bee by Ellis Brooklyn - honey. Drippy, messy, honey. I sometimes wonder if my skin has a sticky layer on it after spraying.
Midnight Dahlia by Korres - one of my partner’s favorites on me. He says it smells like a sweet brewsky.
Bal D’Afrique by Byredo - a lot of people compare this to cleaning products and if it then sign me up to be a floor. So pretty and the vetiver makes this change from just a basic lemon scent.
English Pear & Freesia by Jo Malone - tangy and sweet. Makes you smell so clean. I don’t know what else to say!
Orange Blossom by Jo Malone - orange blossoms are one of my favorite smells in nature and this really hits the mark. I tried for a long time to find a perfume that smells as realistic as this. Feels like I’m walking right past a row of orange trees.
11/11 by Lake & Skye (oil) - the most perfect skin scent in my opinion. Perfect alone or layered.
Bloom by Gucci - light and beautiful white florals, disappears really fast though.
Eilish by Billie Eilish - smells almost exactly like bath and bodywork vanilla and I’m not mad about that. Bought for the bottle.
Flora by Gucci - a super sweet floral.
Flowerbomb by Viktor&Rolf - kind of sick of this one and have realized the more I have gotten into fragrances that I don’t like patchouli.
Kate Spade New York by Kate Spade - a full on strawberry. Reminds me of something I’d wear in high school if I had money.
Fever by Jimmy Choo - a sensual night scent that fills a spot for dates if I’m wearing a little black dress. Has a syrupy plum note.
Dream by Coach - I bought this for the cactus note. It’s soapy and pretty.
North Bondi by Ouai - reminds me of Idole by Lancôme without the headaches.
Magnolia Amazing Grace by Philosophy - pretty but boring.
You by Glossier - the easiest reach I own. Peppery and smells good on everyone.
On the top I have my samples in two low ball glasses.
