Fountain pen suitable for simple drawings?

I have a Lamy LX M which I use for simple drawings, however I have one minor gripe with it, it's rather scratchy. Do you guys have any recommendations? A decent line variation and a smooth tip would be highly appreciated 😅 budget roughly 250$
