21M dry eyes and “minor” blepharitis help

So I have recently been to the opticians because my eyes have been burning recently and they said I have a “minor” case of blepharitis. She gave me a leaflet and told me it’s very minor so it’s nothing to worry too much about.

Despite this the corner of my right eye is irritating badly all day and so uncomfortable now which I assume is the blepharitis. I’ve been washing my eye lids and compressing a warm flannel over my eyes but nothing seems to be alleviating it.

Furthermore she said my tears evaporate after 5 seconds compared to the average 10-12, so she gave me eye drops called “hycosan extra” which I’ve tried using but they make my eyes so uncomfortable. Does anyone know why? Is it because it’s irritating the blepharitis?

Any advice, help or knowledge would be greatly appreciated as I struggle to see myself living with this irritation constantly
