Full width blog posts

I'm using elementor pro. I've searched all over the place and can't figure out why my blog posts won't go to full page.

I've created my single post template in the theme builder that IS full width. Then when I create a new post, it squeezes down to so it's no longer full-width because it's inside another container (that I did NOT create.)

When I go back to my theme builder, the template clearly is full width.

I've tried looking around and making sure everything says "Elementor Full Width" for the template but that confuses me even more. When I select "Elementor Full Width" my template completely goes away and the widget builder STILL isn't full-width. I've made sure that both my template and my post both say Elementor Full Width.

I'm a very beginner and I'm lost. Any help appreciated. Thank you

EDIT: On the post page, it also doesn't show the title, author, or date.
