Should I be worried about becoming an Electrician?

I'm currently a senior in high school and will be graduating in the spring. I've weighed my options and decided I want to attend a trade school and become an electrician. Should I be worried about becoming one. Are the courses going to be difficult? Is the work itself difficult? I'm going into the trade completely blind and have a general idea of electrical stuff, but have never actually done it or even seen it in person. Electricity just interests me, I love the idea of wiring circuits and stuff. Thanks!
