Career Change
I’m a 27 year old male and am thinking of going back to school to be a dietitian. I already have a bachelors in Natural Resources Management. I’m debt free and make a decent living, but just want a career that is more people oriented. I’d also love to learn about nutrition. My friend who is a dietitian has advised me not to enter the field though, sine I already have a degree and because of the low pay and high loans I’ll probably incur while in undergrad and grad school (since a graduate program will soon be required) . Is it really as bad as she says? I fell like nutrition will continue to grow in importance in the healthcare field in the future and the requirement of a graduate degree will limit competition in the field. Thoughts?
