The people off 35 exit ramps into Dayton asking for money

Ok. So I have to stop by these people several times a week and I’m torn. The part of me that wants to be a good person wants to give them a handful of change or whatever. But I also heard that the majority of those people are not homeless and get picked up and dropped off by others and make (relatively) decent money.

Are these people seriously in need, or are they just trying to grift people with a sensitive nature like myself?
