Do you hold a positive/negative view of electric scooters?

It obviously depends on the operator (like drivers), but do you think the proliferation of e-scooters in the bay is a net good or bad?

Have you ridden one, considered buying one? They do store better at home, on transit, etc. but scooter share littering on sidewalks has given them a bad reputation.
