Zoe Saldaña and Kieran Culkin as supporting actors

I feel like every year there's controversy about category fraud, but nobody seems to be talking about these two. Kieran, I can maybe see an argument that Jesse Eisenberg is the more central character, but it's clearly a two-hander in my view. Saldaña, on the other hand, is clearly the lead of Emilia Pérez. She's top billed. The movie is almost entirely from her perspective. Am I alone in this, or is it so obvious to everyone that it doesn't need to be said? I feel like I'm taking the proverbial crazy pills.
