Are dropper post cables universal?

Have a KS rage dropper that has a cable end that is perpendicular to the cable. Looking to replace it with a PNW loam that looks to have the same shape of cable connecter but is shown with a cable end parallel to the cable. Will my current cable work on the new dropper?
