Why play Battlefield if you don't enjoy vehicles?

This is not a rage post, nor bait, I am genuinely curious why it seems like the majority of people in this subreddit prefer no-vehicle gameplay.

With the amount of other shooters that exist on the market, especially for arcade style FPS games, why Battlefield if you despise vehicles so much?

Please, I'm not trying to start an argument or bickering, I just want to know the opinion of those who prefer only boots on the ground gameplay.
