Looks like OS has finally pulled the trigger on getting rid of Creator earnings :/
I don't know what really led up to not respecting artist commissions but this is just plain out wrong for RCAs
The artist already gets stripped 50%. 20% goes to Reddit for providing the platform for the artist to make the money.
30% gets stripped from Google, and if the artist lives somewhere like Sweden as an example, they get an additional 50% of the remaining earnings stripped away for taxes. The artist gets 25% in some cases.
This Gen, many artists made less than $1000 Now figure in all time spent, and materials used to make it. Some artists are career artists, and take the time to draw it out or paint on paper.
Aftermarket sales was the only thing left to get some of that back, and it isn't much. Less than 5% after taxes. Some artists don't need the extra 5%. But that's only a handful.
I will be personally paying artists some commission on everything i sell over $5. You can do the same or not. Its only 50 cents on a $10 sale. If you can do it.
